Our Campervan conversion is based on an extremely clean and tidy one previous owner Crew Cab 2018 Vauxhall Vivaro 2900 Sportive CDTi 1600 6 speed Long Wheel Base with built in Satnav and digital radio. Euro 6 engine meaning its ULEZ compliant, great for London and other UK City's and areas that charge for vehicles.  

 

The living area comprises of a full length kitchen unit that houses the fridge, sink, 12v tap and integrated gas hob. The extra crew cab off side rear sliding door gives easy access to the inside of the kitchen unit that houses the metal gas locker with the larger 4.5kg gas bottle a 23 litre removable fresh water tank and most of the conversions electrics. This area has internal lighting, very handy if pitching in the dark, there is also plenty of storage within this section.

 

The kitchen has storage throughout both top and bottom, there are two tambour door cupboards, one at high level and one at the rear, the rear cupboard also houses the 240v electric consumer box, battery chargers and battery monitor. One charges from the vehicles engine and from the 150w rooftop solar panel, the other is a 240v hook-up charger.

 

The living space is fully lined and carpeted, it’s setup to utilize 12v electric this is a must if off grid even just for one night. There are remote control dimmable LED 12v roof lights, a 5amp USB charging port for phones and the like, there are also 2 LED lights above the sink and hob for safety and two 240v plug sockets.

 

The vehicle is fitted with an M1 safety tested and certificated comfortable two berth rock and roll bed that when in the seated passion has numerous reclining positions and two MOT standard retractable seatbelts turning the holiday vehicle into a five seater vehicle for everyday use, there is also plenty of storage under the bed with that are covered in with bed boards, these give a more tidy look under the bed so nothing stored can be seen. The front passenger’s seat swivels to face the rear to give more space and extra rear seating inside the van when sited. As it was a crew cab van the rear factory trim around the bulkhead and doors give it a more motorhome look.  

 

The two rear door windows and bulkhead all have thermal/blackout curtains and the rear barn doors have thermal/blackout moulded shutter blinds. The whole of the rear of the van has internal insulation.

 

The rear living space has blown air heating with an upgraded thermostat digital display (this is not cheap a Chinese system).

 

We have kept the campervan to its original height of so it will fit under 2 meter height barriers not just in City carparks but also in country parks and beach area’s that have sprung up everywhere since the pandemic. 

 

We had a tow bar fitted only to carry our Thule EasyFold XT 2-Bike Towbar Mounted Bike Rack, the tow ball fitted has a nose weight of 85kg's that’s more than adequate to carry the most heaviest of bikes. We have never attached anything else other than the bike carrier. The value or the rack is around £700, we will include the carrier in the sale but only for the full asking price (not including the bikes).

 

There are also two awnings included, one is a canopy awning and the other is a Vango enclosed awning, both fit the low profile fitted awning rail. Both are included in the sale and have a value of around £400

 

We bought the van from a main Vauxhall dealer in Chingford North London with only 43k miles in 2023, we completed the conversion in 2024 and its now only done just over 50k miles although we still do use.  We have fitted new brake discs and brake pads along with servicing. We have had a great time using it and only selling to move home, brought about by all the new places we have seen on our travels in this great van.

 

All in all this is a great all-round town and county vehicle that makes lovely touring holiday accommodation for two and a fantastic town or school run car that will fit under any two meter height barrier. This really is a very nice clean, tidy and well thought out comfortable van that is easy to drive and very economical to own and use, that’s at home in the Town and Country. Everyone that’s seen it has commented on how nice it is, it really is something we are proud to own.
